Please join us for this FREE, family-friendly community festival where you'll get to know your neighbors and enjoy live music including funk, jazz, pop, house, Latin jazz and bachata.
We'll gather at Sayre School's green space all afternoon, so please come by for a while and make sure you bring a chair, blanket, picnic and your own beverages.

We promise some good ol' Galewood fun and maybe even a little "Summer of Love"!
The long-term goal is to grow the event every year as a celebration of the neighborhood that we love.
In order to do so, please be mindful of the following:
PARKING: This is a neighborhood event, so please walk to the event if you are able. Street parking directly around the school should be reserved for those who cannot make the walk and residents who live on those blocks. We will post if parking lots become available for the event.
COVID: The pandemic is still upon us. Please do not attend the event if you are feeling ill. Please wear a mask if you're not vaccinated. Please be mindful of others, stay socially distant, and wash your hands.
**We are offering FREE VACCINATIONS at the event through the Illinois Department of Public Health for ages 12 and up (minors require legal guardian consent).**
CLEAN UP: Please clean up after yourselves and others because this is OUR neighborhood! Let's make sure we're respecting our school and our neighbors that live here. There will be garbage and recycling cans, please use them! And, we don't want to see any litterbugs on the walk home. If you can stay after the event to help clean up, we would greatly appreciate it!
END OF EVENT: The event ends promptly at 8pm. If you are not actively helping clean up, please head home and be safe! We don't want to linger and create noise for our gracious neighbors. Walk with a buddy and let your friends know you're home safe and sound!
DONATIONS: Although totally free to the public, your donations are always appreciated to keep our events going all year long. Also, there are promotional opportunities for local businesses and nonprofits for the event and throughout the year. Please go to www.galewoodneighbors.org/donate.
